Why should you pick a nerd costume for Halloween in 2012?

It doesn’t get much hotter than these!

First off, it’s fun.  Plain and simple, it’s fun.  Everyone will recognize what you are disguised as right away, and will probably at least chuckle!  They’ll really laugh if you are normally a nerd even when it’s not Halloween!

A nerd outfit is really entertaining, funny, and fun.  You’ll enjoy being one, and other people will enjoy the costume too.  And that’s what Halloween is all about, right?

It’s also an extremely comfortable costume.  There are no uncomfortable masks; you don’t need to spend an hour putting on really irritating makeup (and the havoc it may wreak with your complexion).

Nerd costumes are also incredibly easy to make, and wear.  You can just act a little awkward, and as far as making the costume, you may have the stuff already in your closet!

If not, there are plenty of costume options out there to choose from, or tons of ways to design and make your own.  The possibilities truly are endless!

Finally, while there are some pricy costumes out there, for the most part, nerd and geek outfits are usually really inexpensive – or possibly even free, if you have the materials on hand.
